Tristen - 6 Weeks

Yesterday marked Tristen's 6th week in this big world of ours. He is changing before our eyes - smiling, cooing and noticing all the shapes and sounds around him. He loves to hear our voices and turns his head in our direction when he hears me or Trevor talking. He's doing better sleeping at night - we're pretty much down to 2 feedings after midnight. One around 3:30 and one around 7:30 or so. It is soooo much easier to get up in the mornings and function as a sane person after a good night's sleep. Funny - prior to being pregnant and then having Tristen with us, I would have said a good night's sleep was a straight 8 hours of shut eye. Now we're just thankful for 3-4 hour blocks of uninterrupted sleep!

Attached are some pictures of Tristen with his pint sized blankie Jennifer let us use. It is just the right size and it seems to make him happy.

Hope all is well and we would love to hear from those of you reading our blog.

Love,
Trev, Heather and Tristen
