No trick-or-treating = guilty mommy
Guilty mommy = a cupcake w/ vanilla frosting for a snack on the way home from work
Since we've moved to a new "neighborhood" in Rural Southwest Virginia (a.k.a. BFE) we don't really have anyplace we've scoped out or feel comfortable taking Tristen for trick-or-treating this year. He did have a little party at daycare and dressed up in his Batman pajamas purchased for just this occasion. He looked quite handsome early this morning as we scurried around getting ready.
I was able to leave work early today and we got home at a reasonable time. So, instead of coming inside and hanging out we played. On the swing, in the sandbox, with the dog, with the cat, on the trailer ... it was such a treat to come home and have some sunshine left in the day! Here are a few of my favorite pictures...This picture w/ his coat on is from last night when we got home from work/school. He was watching Jungle Book ... can you tell he's mesmerized?!
Have a safe and happy Halloween!
Love,
Trevor, Heather and the Tman
